CASA has teamed up with Drone Complier to produce an easy-to-use smartphone app illustrating where you're not allowed to fly.
CASA is retiring their 'Can I Fly There?' app in the coming weeks, support for the app will be withdrawn. Instead of 'Can I Fly There?', they have built a remotely piloted aircraft system (RPAS) digital platform for app developers to connect their drone safety app to. In time, you'll be able to select from a range of CASA-approved apps from third-party app developers.
You'll find all of the drone safety rules, plus useful videos and resources, on the dedicated Drone Flyer website.
Visit the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) website for more information.
Enquiries about controlled airspace should be directed to Airservices Australia.
